Key Stage 3 (Years 7 & 8) comprises 6 x 50 minute lessons per day. In addition to Maths, English and Science, students are taught History, Geography, RE, Modern Languages, Computer science, Art, Drama, Music, Design & Technology, PE, Citizenship and SMSC (social, moral, spiritual and cultural education). Students in Key Stage 3 study either Spanish or French dependent on their prior learning at the primary stage.
At both key stages there are a wealth of enrichment courses and clubs offered each day before and after school. Royal Docks Key Stage 3 students are expected to attend at least one club per week whilst Key Stage 4 students attend study clubs as directed by their teachers and/or determined by their particular work demands throughout the year. In addition we have Saturday school each week and holiday school at half terms & Easter.
