GCSE Results 2026
Posted: 20th August 2026Young people at Royal Docks Academy are celebrating their GCSE results today, marking an important milestone following years of hard work, resilience and commitment.
Year 11 students returned to school to collect their results, with the cohort celebrating a range of strong individual achievements across a broad selection of subjects.
Among the highest achieving students in Year 11 are:
- Caroline Scaria: Seven Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, Maths, Physics and Further Maths, alongside a Grade 8 in History, a Grade 7 in Spanish and a Grade 6 in Physical Education.
- Cassius Fernandes Caetano: Three Grade 9s in Biology, English Language and English Literature, five Grade 8s in Chemistry, French, Geography, German, Maths and Physics, alongside a Grade 5 in Further Maths.
- Riddz Gurnani: Two Grade 9s in English Language and Further Maths, seven Grade 8s in Chemistry, English Literature, French, Geography, Maths, Physics and Spanish, and a Grade 7 in Biology.
- Tahmeed Hussain: Three Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, five Grade 8s in English Language, French, Geography, German and Maths, alongside two Grade 7s in English Literature and Further Maths.
Ms Pinar Taze, said:
“I am proud of what our pupils have achieved in their GCSEs this year. They have shown resilience and commitment throughout their school career.
“These results reflect their hard work and the support of staff and families, and they provide a strong foundation for the next stage of their education and training.
“I wish them well as they move on from us and look forward to hearing about all of their successes in the future.”
Royal Docks Academy would like to congratulate all of its Year 11 students on their achievements and recognise the dedication of staff and families who have supported them throughout their GCSE journey.
The students will now take their next steps into further education, training and employment, carrying with them the skills, resilience and determination they have developed during their time at the academy.
