Welcome from the Headteacher

A very warm welcome to Royal Docks academy. I am Stephanie Shaldas and as Headteacher, I am immensely proud to lead a vibrant, diverse, and genuinely inclusive secondary school in heart of Custom House, London.

As part of the BMAT family of schools, we are united by a singular, powerful belief: that every single student and member of staff should be free to succeed.

For us, inclusion is not a policy; it is who we are. We know that young people thrive when they feel safe, valued, and completely free to be themselves. That is why we are dedicated to removing barriers to learning, ensuring that no matter a student's starting point, background, or individual needs, they have an equal path to excellence.

We pair this deep care with high academic and personal expectations. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to deliver a rich, ambitious curriculum that prepares our students not just for exams, but for the global opportunities right on our doorstep.
