Local Governing Board

The Local Governing Board (LGB) has a broad spectrum of Governors who are well trained and bring with them knowledge of local business, education and the local community. They have an important role in ensuring that the school provides the best possible educational environment for the young people in our community. The purpose of the LGB is to provide support and challenge to the school on behalf of the Trust Board. It does this through providing strategic direction at a local level, promoting high standards and educational achievement. The Local Governing Board's key focus is on:

  • Achievement of Pupils
  • Behaviour & Safety
  • Leadership & Management
  • Quality of Teaching
